Another cheap Taiwan pouchong runnerup

Commercial pouchong is plentiful in Chinatown. See my previous post:

Most of it is broken leaf. That doesnt affect the taste. But why pay more when you can get whole leaf if you look around.

This is a picture of some pouchong from my local tea shoppe unloaded for cheap.

This leaf is a little more weathered, heavier, and dark than I like. There are no floral notes but a musky scent. The finish could be a little more pronounced. I think this leaf was on the bush too long but at least nobody tried to hide it from me. Ill live with the taste for the price.
