K-Cups has anyone tried the tea offerings?

I have a Keurig Single cup brewing system, and I have heard that there are some teas offerings available for it. Has anyone tried it, and any comments pro or con, about any teabrands, before i try any? I know with coffee, I have found some I really like, and others were not to my taste at all.

We had a keurig brewer at work and I tried some teas but they were nothing special. I tried green tea, I think lemon tea and basic black tea. They were like tea from teabags, possibly even worse.

had from other similar devices turned out either bland or towards nasty.

Hi Dan,

I also have a Keurig brewing system and tried sever of the tea K- Cups. They were fine, but I find them a bit expensive for what they are. As a fan of loose leaf tea, I put a bag or leaves in a cup and hit the size that I want brewed. The temperature is perfect, I get to choose the tea I want, and am not using a silly little cup that is not really necessary for tea. Someone had commented that you still have the taste of coffee when making tea: I have also found this the case when making tea, but if you brew one cycle of plain water to flush out the machine, it isn't a problem. Also by doing this, you're doing a crucial step that the English do when making a propper cuppa: fill cup with heater water before adding tea. Bottom line: Celestial Seasonings aren't bad, but why limit yourself when you can use the hot water your machine creates to make a cup of whatever you choose? We've stopped using our kettle since getting our Keurig. Hope this helps and good luck with creating the perfect cup of tea.
