Puerh beginners journey

I started with mini tuo cha from Tribute tea and liked them very much. Next was current year Xiaguan tuo cha obtained from Ten Tea both cooked and green. Now I am enjoying some tangerine fermented puerh from Holy Mountain. My plan is to continue trying teas I can afford and samples I can not until I reach a point where I can't tell the difference, and to store away a few for tomorrow. In the process I am dragging a few friends along and awaiting a few packages from Yunan.

I actually like the smoky flavor of the younger tea, I have a feeling when my Tibetan style mushrooms arrive I am going to be pleasantly surprised.

Definately see an improvemet using a thermometer on the green teas.

Ok the tangerine fermented puerh (from Holy Mountain)hangs in there for 3 good infusions and then is pretty much done from there. No real smokyness to it in comparison to the mini tou cha from Ten Tea and from Tribute. My next step will be a scale so that I can make consistant comparisons.
