another shelf life question

I am a little worried about my vodka and gin, as I much prefer whisky and the others just sit there in the cabinet.

How long -- once opened -- can vodka and gin last? How long until the taste starts to degrade?

For that matter, what is shelf life of whisky and whiskey?
