Apple TV Take 2 now acts like an Airport Express

In short: The Take 2 software means you can now stream music to an Apple TV, rather than just having it pull music to it. The important difference is that it now allows software like Airfoil to use it.

This removes the one (fairly major) lack that Apple TV had, from my point of view. I could now replace my Aiport Express if I wanted.

So, just one question: do we Right Pondians *have* the Take 2 software?

I intend to rectify that tonight with the remains of my Glengoyne Cask Strength. The air's getting to to it, so putting it down is overdue.

And, oddly enough, I found it useful and informative, didn't notice that I also was in this group at the time.

It's late evening, and a nice Bourbon (yeah, sometimes I stray from SMS) is pleasantly warming on a cold Wisconsin night.

Oh, indeed, the fluid:air ratio is very important to watch. Would be a shame to have the last few drams be spoiled. Although I've seen worse, I have a friend who once dumped a whole cabinet of homebrew onto the concrete floor. Tim, do you remember who that was? Few years back in either RHOD or the SDM...

I put it to bed last night. Thankfully the air hadn't spoiled it _too_ much, but it was just starting to aquire that metallic overtone that I associate with too much air exposure.
