clynelish?

Also just got a Clynelish -- the coastal highland.

Am I expecting some smoke here??

BTW - finding all these is difficult in an ABC state. Requires forays to ABC stores in other counties and there is no real database.

Ooooh, a nice one - my personal "find of the year" (at least until now). Very nice character and quite different from other coastal SMS I had so far. Even my wife likes it (blimey!)...

Nick,

The Clynelish 14 yo is one of my personal favorites. Its not really a smokey-peaty like a Laphroaig or Lagavulin but it does have a good balance of peat, phenols and sort of a beeswax note with the "coastal" flavors as well as a touch of smoke. Let us know what you think once you've tried it.

Another nicely balanced dram is Springbank.
