Do we have to post through Google, or is the forum mirrored somewhere else ?

Google? I use Outlook express - subscribe to this newsgroup and just receive and send posts... Anders

I use Mozilla Thunderbird. Works for me.

You need a news server though, like you do for Outlook Express.

Google is nice when you want to search through messages or find more posts by certain people. But I don't do my posting there.

Usenet is far bigger than Google, and any "news" program can access it. Google did, however, gain rights to the Usenet ARCHIVE of posts that anyone rights to Usenet that used to be maintained by DejaNews. You can also specify if you do not want Google to maintain a permanent record of your posts in their Usenet archive.
