So, for the last - what, 200, 300 years? - they've been getting it wrong? And only _you_ know what's right?

Go and tip at some other windmills, eh?

For values of victory that include, this guy's a hopeless cause, I'm done talking to him. Congratulations.

Just wondering ... the more I wade thru the outpourings of a certain anti-finish fellow, the more I am reminded of a certain doctor who used to periodically rail against any coloring or chill filtering to the point that, no matter how much he really enjoyed the taste and aroma of a particular dram, he would not drink it unless it was uncoloured and non-chillfiltered. A kinda braindead, neo-fundamentalist guy, locked into one and only one view of life, the universe, and everything. Wot a waste of bandwidth. We really do have more interesting stuff to discuss here, don't we?? Gawd, I hope so.

BTW - recently bought out the local ABC store of HP 12 in the tin can 'cause they said it was being delisted. I may have a corner on the market here.

During this last discussion, someone did (not accidentally, I think) suggest he post a list of whatever it was he was on about. That reminded me that we haven't seen *the* list for quite a few months now. I think if M*rvin was that guy, he couldn't have resisted the temptation.

For better or worse, I've just spotted for the first time locally and brought home a bottle of a peated Irish single malt -- Connemara. I'll report back in the near future.

Hollow victory since you're still the Usenet equivalent of a bottle of Grants.
