Has anyone had a chance to try Hazelburn, the triple-distilled, unpeated spirit from Springbank? I've just picked up a bottle to try, haven't opened it yet and wondered if there are any views on this malt.
Anyone had a chance to sample it?

IMO to expensive for such a young whisky. It needs more time IMO.

Agreed. It is rare to get a chance to taste a new (not completely new of course) whisky though.
I tried this the other day, and it was very nice. Quite light. It's from bourbon and sherry casks, but I didn't detect much sherry. A lovely drink, but not worth the price.
Agreed. It's nice and light and sweet but at the price there are better malts.
