JW Blue Label

What's your opinion about this whisky? I like it very much.

Thank you for your answers.

Never have tried it, but I recently got his younger brother, the Black Label, for a birthday present, i really like it. The first few Drams were a bit too strong and heavy, but after a time, when the whisky has breathed in the bottle, it became softer, smother and funner to drink. The overall feeling is of a serious scotch, matured 'till its ready, its taste is really satisfying, and i really like it.

Anyway, i really want to try the blue label some when, unfortunately, here in Israel is costs around 700 USD...

Never tried it, sadly - it's a tad out of my price range. I do like the Green, however. Unlike most (all)?) of the other JW bottlings, it's a vatted rather than a blend.

Yes, I know. It's very expensive. But it's very pleasant and fine. (once in a year....) :-)

I tried it once and I thought it was very good. The only word I could use to describe it is smooth.

I suspect I'll buy a bottle at some point and then never drink it (apart from a couple of sample drams, obviously).
