Mannochmore 22 year old 60.1%vol for a novice !!

Hello everybody,

I have a bootle of Mannochmore 22 year old - 60.1 %..

Any idea how to drink this Single Malt ?

It's write on the bottle : " To enjoy this fresh spring-gold 22 year old cask-strenght single Malt at its best, measure one part whisky to two parts still water at room temperature."

Please say me if my understranding is right : For example : 2cl of whisky and 4cl of water in a glass ?

Which kind of water ?

I never drink whisky with water but this one is very strong without nothing (60.1%Vol !!)

I like Single Malt Whisky but I don't know exactly what's the better way to drink (with ice, without ice, with water, ...). Each time, I drink a whisky, I drink it without ice and without water.

Thanks for your experience about it.

Personally i also drink my cask strengths without water, but that might be too harsh for you.

I'd say that one part whisky to two parts water is too much water (and yes, your understanding is correct), i suggest you try it yourself and see which you prefer. Try one part whisky to one part water and see where it takes you.

Slainthe!
