OT: Michael Collins Single Malt Irish Whiskey

I recently tried and very much enjoyed the Michael Collins Single Malt Irish Whiskey, new to my area. I was intrigued by the promise of another peated Irish whiskey. This is another effort from Cooley, the makers of Connemara. If Connemara is an Irish for lovers of Islay whiskies, the Michael Collins Single Malt (There's also a blend - nice but nothing special) is an Irish for Speyside lovers. It's lightly peated, but the peat flavor is clearly discernible. I think Cooley scores another win with this one. It's a bit pricey for an Irish, about 40 USD locally, which makes it a premium priced Irish comparable to Redbreast, Bushmills 10yo, Black Bush, or Jamesons 1780, though according to the Malt Advocate an unspecified percentage of the proceeds goes to Irish charities if that makes you feel better. I tried this at our local whisky bar, Opal Divine's, but intend to grab a bottle soon for further "research".
