Interesting. I've never tried most of those. I like Mount Gay Rum (with Coke) :-D

Marvin asked in message news: snipped-for-privacy@bt.com...

Special Occasion: Balvenie 21 year Portwood SMS (but I just had a sip of Auchentoshan

17-yo last night... SMOOTH schtuff that ambrosia.)

More-frequent sipper: Cardhu.

Special Occasion: Buchanan's 18-yo Blended Scotch

More-frequent sipper: Ballantine's

Special Occasion: Knappogue Irish Whisky 1994

More-frequent sipper: Bushmill's 10-yo

Special Occasion: Bunratty Potcheen Irish Whisky

More-frequent sipper: Murphy's

Special Occasion: Baker's Bourbon

More-frequent sipper: Wild Turkey (or as all three daughter-units call it 'Crazy Chicken').

Special Occasion: Germain-Robin Fine Alambic Brandy

More-frequent sipper: Christian Bros. XO

Special Occasion: Grey Goose/Chopin/Belvedere (a Costco giftcard put to grand use)

More-frequent sipper: Kettle One

Don't have one; it's the closest thing to kerosine I've ever had the displeasure of tasting -- next to grappa. I was "recently" treated to a tour of several boutique producers and still can't understand the moth-to-flame draw this nasty elixer has on some very respectable people.

Special Occasion: Appleton Estate Rum (althought SWMBO prefers Porfidio Anejo Rum)

More-frequent sipper: Ron Rico/Bacardi

Special Occasion:

7 Leguas Tequila Anejo

More-frequent sipper: Jose Cuervo Clasico Silver

Are you a Glasgow Ranger?

I'd be drinking much heavier (as if that's possible) and cheaper schtuff if that were the case.

Trying to limit these to one was tough. I also excluded extremely expensive offerings

I would add Irish Pure Pot still to the categories: Redbreast 15yo.
