What is Tesco's Islay single malt?
I last heard it was a Bruichladdich, but that was when it was a 10 year old.I've not tried the new 12 yet.
Drew Martin:
It could well have been Bruichladdich. My bottle's nearly empty now. I'll have to try the 12. Haven't seen it before.
Whatever this years tesco Islay 10 is, it is total pigsh&t! Shorter finish than a bottle of Bells, a one second hit of vanilla essence straight from t he baking cupboard then a day long headache as a reward for not spending a few quid more on a bottle of Talisker!
Seem to remember a stores-own-brand Islay Malt in North Allerton. Perhaps an ASDA?? In any case, it was nice, but some years ago as well. Think it was an ASDA Extra Special
12 yo ISLAY Malt Whisky. Very Nice.DrinksForum website is not affiliated with any of the manufacturers or service providers discussed here. All logos and trade names are the property of their respective owners.
