Today's tipple

Hullo,

Well, now the sun is over the yard arm, my Macallan 10 year old is breathing the air again.

What's your dram tonight, laddies?

Bottoms up!

A (sorry, *The*) Glenlivet 12. Nothing fancy. Given that I'll be shouting at the TV during the Scotland/Italy rugby match later, fancy would be a waste.

Splendid Jim! I fancy our boys for the win; they're in fine fettle right now. Looking forward to a good show!

Well, if we don't win it won't be for lack of trying :-)

Besides - we _owe_ Italy. It's payback time.

I intend to celebrate with a Highland Park 18.

A bottle of the Laphroaig Quarter Cask recently came my way, and tonight would be a good time to confirm my first impression -- that I like this one very much.

Highland Park, I say, good choice!

Rooting for the boys, but I've been accosted by tonight's guests and duty calls and all that rot.

As they say, Have a good one!

If you don't like it then re-cork it and send it to me for safe disposal.

No, no, thank _you_.

We brought a bottle of Quarter Cask back from the UK this Spring and I really hated to see it go. One of the nicest drams I have ever had. Sadly we cannot get it here in North Carolina. Gonna have to get some more next Spring.

It's 88 degrees F in Northern Alabama so a light floral-fruity dram is in order. I started with a dram of The GlenLivet Nadurra cask strength and decided to thin it a bit with a 12 year old Cragganmore instead of water. They work well together. I apologize if anyone is offended but the hot weather may have left me a bit daft.

May I come over and help out with the HP 18?
