Tumblers

Any tips on good online shops (preferably European) that sell any of these really _heavy_ tumblers?

If you want something heavy, it will have to have a fairly thick base. Of Edinburgh Crystal, Stuart Crystal, and Waterford (the best three in my mind), I've found that Waterford's tumblers are the lightest, as they don't have very thick bases. All of the tumblers in Edinburgh Crystal's 'Skye', 'Tay', or 'Tiree' patterns are likely going to be quite heavy, but as I've never picked one up, don't take my word for it. They certainly look heavy, though. The tumbler in the Stuart Crystal 'Shaftesbury' pattern has good weight to it, as I own one.

If you want something that isn't cut, try Dartington, or even Spiegelau

Hope that helps.
