As long as I'm not preying, Shariah only requires that I be covered from navel to knees, which my pakhama (Thai kilt) does fine.

Since I am Buddhist and not Muslim, I can't be sure. I believe that what is appropriate garb for a Muslim when praying in a Mosque is what would be considered correct attire in that community.
