I hate you :-)

Try Lincolnshire - even originating from the North of England this place is too flat.

Ski, Norway No, it doesn't have anything to do with skiing... :-) Anders
Nice to see a poster from what my Bo'ness buddy calls The Holy Land!
I hoist a quaff in your general direction, Steve. Slainte!
I loved it in Barnet, Hertfordshire. Maybe it was the good company and great pubs. ;-)

You think you have it flat? I live in Arnhem The Netherlands. I am also a Scot in exile.
Peace,

Well, *technically* I'm not a Scot - I'm only half Scottish (on my father's side) and I don't live there. However, it's where I would live given half a chance.
The Netherlands, eh? Crikey.
Jim
Och, as they say in both your countries. But at least your malts are cheaper in the Low Countries, n'est-ce pas?
cheers.

In fact, Germany ist still one of the fastest growing whisky markets of the world. It is hard to stand against traditional spirits, beers and wines, but Scotch and Irish Whiskey rapidly increase their market shares.
This is because more and more are learning that Scotch is what happens when beer goes to heaven..
Yeah The Netherlands:-) Bringing Scottish culture to the Dutch. See my website for details of that.
Peace,
Jock The Step-We-Ceilidh Band.
True indeed Bill. I was at the Dutch whisky fest a few weeks ago and it was a treat indeed. Saw the great Michael Jackson there too. I get to go back to Scotland quite a bit though. I am playing music at a Hogmany party in a hotel on Loch Tay. I also help a friend out who does custom tours in Scotland. But only help out with his whisky tours. I had a great tasting of Craigellachie a couple of weeks ago. That was the best whisky surprise I have had in a while. So creamy and butter like.
Peace,
Jock The Step-We-Ceilidh Band.
