Which Distillery is the Goring Hotel's Whisky from...?

Hi All,

A friend of mine was recently given a bottle of the Goring Hotel's whisky - I assume it is a single malt although I haven't actually seen the bottle.

Does anyone have any idea which distillery it is from? As far as I know there aren't any clues on the bottle (although it could be my friend just hasn't read it very carefully!).

I've had a flick through Jim Murray's, Michael Jackson's and David Stirk's books but have as yet found no mention of it.

Any clues?

Thanks,

John

Hi,

there will be a clue on the bottle of some sort. Is it a Highland malt? A Lowland malt? An Island malt? Is it peaty? Who bottled it for Goring's?

If you can give me some sort of other clue i can trace it for you.
