Whisky barrels

Hello,

I'm brewer and owner of a small (beer) brewery, and I would like experiment with conditioning of strong ale on whisky barrels.

Can anybody recommend a distillery that sells empty oak-barrels which have contained whisky? Preferably in Europe or Britain.

There is already a product on the market which claims to do this.

The Innes and Gunn company make a beer matured in casks which have previously contained whisky.

A cask version has been available at Scottish beer festivals and there were plans to produce a bottle-conditioned version. Did it ever appear?

I have only ever seen it on sale in bottles but not bottle conditioned.

It would be good to see what the cask version is like compared to the bottle version.

Bottle conditioning always adds a little something to a beer so again that would be good to see .
