With flounder, green beans, squash, and barley I started with 2011 Maynes ( Guillot) Macon-Villages. This is sweet, short, and premoxed. C
Luckily I had another white chilled. The 2014 Collestefano Verdicchio di Ma telica was delicious- stony/mineral notes, citrus, pit fruits. Easy drinkin g, does well with the food. Fine value, B+/B
Lobster was on sale at Stew Leonards, Betsy got a trio and made our favorit e lobster/corn/tomato salad. Wine was the 2011 Niellon Chassagne-Montrachet . Fair amount of oak (but with lobster I can take that), pear and apple fru it, just a hint of hazelnut. Fairly weighty, balanced acids. But really sho uld let the oak integrate more. For now, B
