I have been an amateur winemaker for the past 14 years. When I retired I became serious and went to "School" which was TAFE (Technical And Further Education" where I was lectured by one of New South Wales prominent winemakers, David Lowe. I am about to retire from Amateur winemaking and selling off all sorts of stuff that one accumulates when one manages 3 tonne of grapes. Unless I have been careless, I have not found a forum, apart from RCW, in Australia and particularly New South Wales that caters for the amateur winegrower as does the sites that cater for brewers. Maybe this is an Australian thing. I recently made it known on one of the brewer websites that I was getting rid of 80 liter stainless steel drums. The response was immediate. There was a need obviously. I now ask where the equivalent website is for amateur New South Wales winemakers?
