Trying to find sugar cane yeast

Hi,

Anybody out there have a hint where to find this? A specific supplier maybe? Just need a small quantity, not wholesale.

TIA

If you are in the US, you can find it in just about any supermarket. Look for a package that says "Pure Cane Sugar". "Dominos" brand is the most common that I see on the shelves here. HTH

I remember something called "Turbo Yeast" try search for that. You just trying to ferment plain cane sugar? That's what you want.

Turboyeast... that's basically a distiller's yeast. They use it to ferment sugar washes. rec.crafts.distilling has order information for the stuff.

All yeast ferments sugar. Are you trying to find an isolated yeast strain that lives on sugar cane? I'm not sure why you would be, but I've never come across anything for sale supposed to be of such an origin...
