Yeast Nutrients

What nutrients and how much per gallon do you use? Diammonium phosphate? Magnesium sulfate? Ghostex? Quick Starter? Yeast energizer??? WHAT??? :-)

I've never used it.

Yeast hulls.

Sound like nutrients/vitamins for the yeast.

Dosage depends a lot on how nutrient poor the fruit is to begin with, whether it's a red or a white, the varietal, etc. I posted a link a week or so ago that gave guidelines on this topic. Ah, here it is:

I almost =never= make grape wines. I prefer fruits, apple, cherry, blueberries or mead, or combinations thereof. When I do make grape wines, it is strictly red or white concord from frozen juice. I am not a wine conniseur; I am a kinda-sewer! LOL!!! I can see from the charts though, that I =really= need to get some nutrients before I do any more brewing of any kind. Thanks for your help!
