Belgium Frostbite

Every once in a while I buy Riverhorse beer out of patriotism; I live in New Jersey not far from the brewery. But up until now I've never really liked any of their beers. But they have a new one called Belgium Frostbite which is very good. It is something like Spaten Optimor in color and taste, but better. They describe it a little floridly...

"As the days grow shorter and frost becomes snow, our BELGIAN fROSTBITE WINTER ALE is the perfect remedy to loosen the spirits. This deep amber tonic is brewed with lots of roasted caramel malt for body and warmth to bring in the holidays and see you through the spring.

8% A.B.V

Available from September thru March. Deep Amber Belgian Style Ale Fermented with Authentic Belgian Ale Yeast. Moderately Hopped and Lower Sweetness Than Most Belgian Ales."

Worth a try if you can find it.
