If you want to know what the Osmanthus flower should taste like when added to a tea try Huang Jin Gui which means Golden Osmanthus.

In this case the flower is not added to the tea. It is a natural tasting Osmanthus honeysuckle, citrus from Anxi Fujian. This is a one note tea without any nuances which is its strength. The infusions never give up. The taste refuses to fade. It is whole leaf and stem whole leaf. This is about 2g. Its more expensive than say the flower added to a non descript green tea for approximation.
