I recently saw a small saucepan (1 qt or so) being used to make a few quick cups of Indian tea. A flat circular cover for the pot was used, with a hemispheric fine strainer in the exact center. The loose leaves could then be infused from the top, as opposed to a bag or two of Indian tea (usually used when one is in a hurry).
What is the name for such a device? It would be nice to try it on good Darjeeling...
