The second tea I've tried from my big care package from SpecialTeas.Com was #881, Decaffeinated Darjeeling (no other designators; I guess they're giving their customers that to their credit).
I love the smell of this stuff in the bag. Very flowery and fruity. It gets much more subtle in the cup. Best decaf I've ever had by a ton, one of the better teas, and a better Darjeeling than the Twinings loose BP in the plum colored tin.
And maybe the best part of it: there was a familiar scent to the tea in the cup, and now that it's cooling a bit it just struck me. It has this sweet/deep note that is my favorite part about the Te' Teas Yin Zhen Silver Needles white tea I was posting about last week.
That, in a Darjeeling, and it's decaf? This my new favorite tea. But I have like 6 or 7 more bags to try, so we'll see how the rest of the week goes.

P.S. Babelcarp says "yin zhen" is literally "silver needles". But "te' tees" is redundant, too, so maybe it's a style thing.
