Re: Puerh Earl Grey

I've come across this flavored Puerh here in Poland where apparently it's

I live in a city (Kitchener, ON) with a fairly large Polish community, and Puerh is available at all the Polish stores... I didn't care much for the earl grey, but it was relatively inexpensive, only C$1.99 for

100g IIRC. It had quite the manurey-barnyard odour to it though.

While intrepidly exploring rec.food.drink.tea, Charles H rolled initiative and posted the following:

I'd never tried puerh until this weekend. I got some from my local tea shop. The owner commented that some people like to spike the puerh with some Earl Grey. So I got some of that as well.

I'm still working on the balance, but in general, I prefer the puerh/Earl Grey combination to the straight puerh.

This cave aged stuff just reminds me of shoveling horse manure during the summer in college - and that isn't exactly a "good" memory.
