I'm going to be in New york this weekend since I'm always on the lookout for Ardbeg or Brora I checked Park Avenue Liquors web site..
The only thing they have posted that I haven't tried is a '92 Rum Cask Finish...
Personally I prefer any peated whisky to be un sherried as the sweatness tends to muddy the peat .. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how the rum treats this whisky?
Muddy and Confused like sherry (MO)? Or just a hint of extra depth?
