Grrrr - Test !


After 8 years accessing Usenet via my ISP, they have just announced that they are dropping their server access to Usenet.
Thus I am forced to "tune in" to AFW via alternate means.
Please accept my apologies if I test run my new account via Google Groups

Thats because I reported you to your ISP. They said you were a bad boy and made this decision to disrupt your life :-)

My ISP did the same.
I've had good FREE service from news.datemas.de. (Binary groups not supported.)

You had me worried for a moment, since my news service (Paradise/TelstraClear) was down for 3 days earlier in the week, but it looks like you are using Xtra. Perhaps it's time for a change of ISP, not just of news service.
