Why so many cops support the drinking age laws

Free beer isn't the only non-taxable fringe benefit they get when they catch underage drinkers.

Former police officer charged with soliciting sexual favor Associated Press

INDIANA, Pa. - A former police officer was charged with soliciting a sexual favor from a college student in exchange for not citing her for underage drinking.

Jason Emigh, 29, of Clymer, was charged Thursday with official oppression and false imprisonment.

An Indiana University of Pennsylvania student told police that Emigh her picked her up April 7, put his hand on her leg and asked what he would get in return for saving her $1,500 in fines.

The student, then 19, said she feared that Emigh would assault her, so she kissed him and bit his lip, according to a criminal complaint. She called authorities after returning to her dorm.

Emigh was suspended by Indiana Police Chief William Sutton pending an internal investigation and resigned April 29. A message left for him on Sunday was not immediately returned.

He's not a cop. He's a ex-cop!

You're such a dick, Alciere! But, as long as you can spread your unhealthy hatred toward law enforcement, it's okay.

But the ex-pig was threatening to cite her for underage drinking. Ex-pigs are civilians, they have no authority to cite anyone for anything, so he was obviously acting in the role of a pig.

And I've heard a number of cases where real official pigs on patrol have solicited sex in exchange for overlooking minor offenses.

My theory is that all pigs were former school bullies. After realizing they were obnoxious morons that everyone hated anyway, they decided the best career option available to them was pig; since everyone hated them already, they decided to become pigs and at least get paid for it.

A better question is how many cops support the Lautenberg Amendment?

Why do cops think that if convicted of domestic violence they should still be able to possess and carry guns?

According to the article, he was a cop on the date of the arrest. He resigned 22 days after. ( Hoping to avoid punishment?) Charges brought against the (now ex-) officer months later. That is why the news articles Identifies him as an ex-officer. He was on active duty at the time of the incident.
