Why I quit drinking Miller

Mar 21, 2005 3 Replies

I've been drinking Miller High Life for a long, long time.

No more; never again will I buy any Miller Brewing product. The reason is plain and simple:

Their anti-Budweiser T.V. ads. Throwing dirt on the competition is not the proper way to conduct business affairs. Its an insult to those who you want to switch. Its proper to tout your assets but don't go knocking your fellow brewers.

Look at it this way. Suppose Ford wants to get Chevy owners to buy Fords. If Ford knocks Chevy, then Ford is saying in so many words, you Chevy owners are stupid for having bought Chevys. You don't get people to change their ways by calling them stupid.

I loved the taste of Miller High Life and I'm going to fondly remember it.

Come on. You act as though Bud has never done the same thing. And at least Miller isn't a pauper pretending to be king.

BTW, if you're serious about giving up Miller (and not the troll I'm sure you are :-), don't drink s*it like Bud -- move up to something good.

Proof that advertisement wurks.
