Question for anyone familiar with Tennessee

I am glad of the lifting of the ban. Thanks for the info. Politics is a thing I never wish to discuss on usenet though. It was not my intention to bring this conversation about. My intention was purely about where to buy decent whisky and whether or no I could bring a bottle of my own.

Peace,

Indeed, the thing that makes our little group nice is that it lacks that sort of thing. In fact, the thing Bill corrected me on was simply a shallow attempt to neutralize the anti-American sentiment of my post (oh, yay, it's kinda working). I'm just a Midwesterner, and I tend to be sarcastic about everything--I didn't really mean that Americans have no culture and are dummies...wait, yes I did, but I meant it jokingly, not politically or even seriously. And I'll be the first to admit that my hyper-zeal about things like choral music, mountain bike racing, scotch, and competitive table tennis are ridiculous. Cheers ... and if you're not keeping up, America, season 8 is out! John

Have a great trip, Jock. Let us know if it is anything like the Highlands--or Cajun country, for that matter. Keep your eyes out for any Tennessee boudin!

Hah hah. Boudin? I sure hope I find it there. I love it together with Samual Adams Triple Bock. If I can find it that is:-) I guess it will not resemble Cajun Country all that much. But I will mail you when I get back. But I still have a month to wait before I go.

Peace,
