A New York Beery Experience, seen by a Belgian

Hello, It's huge, it's massive, it's phenomenal, and takes you hours to finish. So, take a quiet moment, take a good American beer (or 2 or 3), and enjoy this virtual NY experience.

Included are: Babblefest at Gingerman, Belgium comes to Cooperstown beerfest, X-mas in July happening at Blind Tiger, many beerpubcrawls, etc...etc...

Uptil now, this is the most extensive picture report I ever made, and it was really worth doing this huge job. This is my small tribute to American quality beers !! let's hope it gives people a different view on Budweiser America....

Lew, you're on it !!

Have fun...

Hey, I am, but that's certainly not the only person, place, or beer I recognized! You did good, Filip: whoever took you around knew what they were doing. Great to see Ron Givens: met him in April on a press trip to Prague, funny guy.

It was great fun visiting the local bars with Filip. I and the dogs enjoyed ourselves immensely, as you can see by the pictures...

Yes, we all (including the dogs Sophie and Ludwig!) enjoyed ourselves !! As this was the ever first trip to the States, and in this way an "initiation", we will be back for MORE !!!!! Because we just love USA. The hospitallity is unseen, and nothing alike what's "badly" told here in "bad" Belgium !

Well, I was so inspired by your account, I just ordered 6 bottles of Westvleteren 12 and 4 of their 8 from the Belgian Shop. :^)

Filip, It seems that you like American Barley Wines. Make sure you take a trip to the Toronado bar in San Francisco during one week in February during their Barley Wine festival. They have probably 60+ barley wines on tap and sell it in 50, 100 and 150 ml (2,4,6 ounce) glasses at reasonable prices. It is truly amazing.
