I was looking at RateBeer.com, and the reviews of Steg 1857 lager start out great in 2001, and gradually get worse as time goes forward to 2004 (although even in 2004 some people still like it).
I am currently drinking Steg Porter and enjoying it.
Anyone had an 1857 lager in 2004 ? How was it ?

I had one in April, and it tasted pretty good, much better than I remembered it. Beer rating sites are strongly subject to group-think (and just as strongly deny it).
