I'll have to try it. I've enjoyed Avery's Reverend and Salvation and I've got some of their Beast headed my way.

Tiny Penis Pale Ale?

Since the big-things-to-overcompensate-for-tiny-dick thing works so well for Hummer, it ought to work for beer.

More for the rest of us. It's not the name, it's the taste. Rip the damn label off the bottle, or refuse to call it by its style. Easy- peasy.

Oh. Carry on, then.

Maybe the craft brewing industry and the buying public are just happy to see you.

Any moron *can* brew decent big-ass beers, and the public wants them, therefore, shazam, instant crowd-pleaser, which leads to profits, which make our country STRONG and BETTER. Then the brewery can concentrate on loss leaders for the beer geeks like a cask bitter.

Get laid or something, willya? At least double the Motrin dosage.

Witzel

What freakin' "public" are you talking about? The geekerie wants 'em, mainly, and there ain't enough geekerie out there to support every moron brewing big-ass beers. Sheesh.

I'm gonna go get laid and take Motrin.

Be sure to split a bottle of The Beast with your honey first.

So brew Bud, then.

I'm not mad at you for what you said, but for the way you said it.

-Steve

That's not very easy to do, plus it smacks of COMMUNISM - Budweiser, owned by a real AMERICAN company, is already out there, and you just want someone to come along and siphon off their profits for their own nefarious schemes?

Speaking of, when is Imperial Budweiser coming along?

I'm sorry, Steve. I sense that you have a friend in town and that is making you an irrational bitch. It's not you, it's the hormones talking.

Split? One each, my friend. Unless Lew's a pussy.

It doesn't have to be an equal split. ;^)

Best regards, Bill

Unless?

The bottle I opened started out as an even split [*] in my household. It turned into more of a 75/25 split by the time she got halfway into it. Oh yeah, my assessment of The Beast is that it's not bad, but it's like a beer whose only purpose is to be strong. I personally think there's a very good beer under there that would come out better if they wouldn't put in all the simple sugars. [*] I've brought up the fact that given relative body mass something closer to a 60/40 split would make more sense, to no avail.

But an "Imperial Light" does exist already. Even when it is not named such - it's just called "Biolégère", has only 3.5% ABV, Ecocert label, etc. But it is brewed at the Dupont brewery, of Saison, Moinette and Bons Voeux fame, and brewed with its excellent houseyeasts. One to try, even at that ABV. They make a pretty good pilsener too (Redor pils). Joris
