Miller high life?

Hello, First post here. Seems like a nice ng. Haven`t had much time to read all of the posts yet. I live in the US. I drink miller high life in the

12oz. tall neck bottles. OK there is the regular miller high life and the cold filtered high life. Both have twist off tops. The regular miller bottle tops twist right off easily. The cold filtered ones almost need a church key to get them off. I find this to be consistent. After a heavy night of drinking the cold filtered bottles........my hand that removes the twist caps is raw. Same brewer just different bottle labels. Any ideas? Thanks Dan.

It's the cold filtering process that's getting you my friend! See, the beer is so cold when bottled under "cold filtering conditions" that the metal cap actually contracts and forms a much tighter seal (if you get cans of cold filtered miller products you can actually see the metal on the top of the can is a bit concave). What I suggest you do next time you bring home a suitcase of "cold filterd" miller goodness is to let those puppies sit out at room temp for a few hours, then open each one up until you hear the "tssss!" and then close'er back up again and stick them in the fridge. They will be ready to drink in just a few hours!
