CEREMONIAL FIRST TAPPING PARTY OF MOERLEIN BARBAROSSA will happen Thursday March 20th, 2008, from 5:00 – 9:00PM, at Arnold’s Bar and Grill, the oldest bar in Cincinnati, located at 210 E. 8th St. downtown. First Tapping ceremony will happen at 5:30PM sharp.
Our last keg tapping had over 300 of our closest friends attend and had a fun atmosphere for all… Limited edition posters of the Moerlein Barbarossa image will be given to attendees. Local artist Jim Effler, who was commissioned by Christian Moerlein Brewing Company to paint the artwork, will be on hand to sign the commemorative prints. The Over-The-Rhine Foundation will receive a portion of the proceeds from every Moerlein Barbarossa sold at the event. The OTR Foundation is the organization who coordinated Bockfest last weekend and need our assistance to recoup a source of their fundraising…so raise a beer to them… Also, since the Bockfest Parade could not go off because of the weather, a special raffle of the Bockfest Grand Prize Parade Trophy with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the OTR Foundation will be conducted. This is one of a kind piece of art and will benefit the OTR Foundation… PLUS YOU CAN DRINK FROM IT!!!
