While in ASDA the other day, saw some bottles of Darwin Rolling Hitch. Since I remebered it being mentioned in Whats Bruin, I naturally assumed it to be BC and bought a couple. It is certainly an impressive beer and equivalent to Sierra Nevada and Little Creatures as a good example of an IPA. It wasn't until I put the empty out that it dawned on me that it wasn't BC ! Despite this, I must say it was better than a large number of BCs I've been drinking recently. Well recommended and would be absolutely magnificent in BC form.
Checked back to the WB reference and - guess what - it was mentioned in Herr Protz's column. Given CAMRA's emphasis on RAIB, surely it the fact it wasn't BC should have been mentioned.
