There will be a beer festival at the Melton Mowbray Cattle Market from Friday 17th September until Sunday 19th. There will be over 50 cask ales plus ciders , including some rare and interesting brews. The venue has been greatly improved and is now one of the best in the country.There is parking for 1000 cars and good public transport links. Times ; Fri , Sat , 11-11 Sun 11-3 Admission free before 6 pm , then £2 (CAMRA members with card £1) There will be live music for those who don't know any better.The more discerning drinkers can escape from the distraction! (I am told by someone who knows that it is an excellent band!) Nottingham CAMRA will be running a bus on Saturday.
