Guinness KEG Expiration while under refrigeration/pressure?

Subject pretty much says all. I have a keg of Guinness that I can't really consume quickly (just me) :) It's in a kegerator and kept under pressure. Maybe it's just me but it seems to be tasting a bit sour lately. I've had the keg for about 2 months. TIA for any info!

PS. Is Guinness in the keg pasteurized? I can't get a straight answer on that either from web searches.

WHAT?! You mean you have to consume an entire keg in five days? Are you crazy? There would be no point in having the kegerator. It wasn't tasting the least bit different even after 2 weeks ... now two months later I'm noticing a sourness (i think)

It appears I can't get a straight answer to my simple question of how LONG a keg of Guinness generally lasts (for taste) under pressure and refrigeration. YES I'm using beer gas mix and YES of course I clean my lines (beer grows mold rather quickly). As far as the beer gas mix - it's one common to gas suppliers in the area ... they in fact call it "beer gas" and it has the percentage of nitrogen already mixed in with the CO2.

"Stout gas" is usually how it's referred to.

I've a Guinness keg here with separate N2 and CO2 tanks but that shouldn't be a difference. I keep a keg for 30-40 days without any noticable degrad- ation in taste. I clean the lines with every new keg. I take the faucet apart and clean it well too.

Are you sure you are getting a proper stout gas mix? Depending upon where you get your tanks filled, they may do other gases. My supplier also fills O2 for medical purposes. When I get my tanks fill, he charges me an extra $2 to purge the manifold of other gases with CO2 and the N2. Not a major fee considering I get each tank for about $15.

Only one person can give the answer about how long a keg of Guinness lasts under the unique conditions of your kegerator. He, apparently, is still collecting data.
