it is designed to help everyone understand at the simplest levels about everything about coffee. I'm not going to write pages about the total breakdown of how the site rates stuff but the simpleast way is this. We have 3 seperate cuppers one likes drip, another espresso, and the other loves all coffee. The cupping does use a traditional calculating system (100 points) but to simplify it for everyone we use 0-5 out of 5 beans system. Mathmatically its simple take the points out of 100 divide by 2 then divide by 10 to get the bean, rounding by the quarter. Please check out
