This is a beer question not specifically about home brew.
I have just had a 72 pint Firkin delivered for the weekend. I have a couple of large wooden blocks that I sit it on normally but this time I'm taking the barrel to another location and am not able to transport my usual very heavy stand.
Any suggestion for supporting the barrel. The barrel is fatter in the middle than the ends and the bung is in the bottom so it needs to sit on its side about 14" off the ground.
