HEy all,
Just picked some wild ginger this summer and plan on making some ginger ale. Anyone ever done this? Got any suggestions. I got a bunch of ginger, don't know how much to really use though. Would I use some hops with that? I'd kinda like to is why I ask. You're right, probably not. So I come to ask, is it just like brewing a pale ale with only a 1-1 substitution of ginger for hops? Adding them in at the beginning and end for flavor and boutique and using a light malt extract and crystal grains? Thanks in advance. G_cowboy
