Ive been kegging my batches over the summer (fairly new to this), but they were for parties/bbq's, etc, but this stuff now is for home, and I dont have a kegerator in my part of the house. But anyway, Im pleased with it, just hoping it'll carbonate well (had problems with the kegs), ended up short of the 5 gallons for various reasons so cut back my corn sugar. But for anyone intrested heres how it came out:
Oatmeal Chocolate stout (with a hint of a roasted flavor) Final Gravity - 1.012 Alcohol - 5%
Pretty pleased with those results, not to mention it came out pretty dark, Im excited, too bad I have to wait a couple/few weeks to dig in!
Later this week my coffee porter is due up!
Anyone try making a clone of Harpoon Winter Warmer and have any suggestions? Thats next on my list...
