Mostly whole leaf with some broken. It wouldnt be too bad if any of this caught on. It doesnt so the knowledgeable tea drinker pays more for his unscented whole green leaf to subsidize a failed marketing ploy. At least the Indians keep their tea masala away from their teas. These scents are so overpowering I keep them away from my unscented teas.Jim
