I'm curious about the differences between chinese and japanese green tea. I'd appreciate some information or a pointer to an explanation on the web.
One other question: I recently purchased some Mao Feng from a local tea shop. I'm brewing it at 160F for 2 minutes. It has a slightly burnt, smokey flavor. Is this to be expected or is there something wrong with the tea? The taste is certainly not to my liking...
