Electric tea brewer

I have an automatic coffee maker I use to only make tea.

I take two family size tea bags and a 12 cup coffee maker. It works pretty well and I don't have to watch it. I can go back an hour later and make the tea if I need to.

I admit though that this method does not make the tea taste as rich as it does when I boil the tea on the stove.

Are there automatic tea makers for us lazy people?

Adagio sells one here:

I don't have one, but I am very happy with their electric kettle.

There are a large variety of electric kettles, not necessarily ones that you put your tea in, but simply those that heat the water for you. I have one that has a temperature gauge so you can stop it at lower temperatures for your green and white teas. I think even CVS carries a model.

These are easy t use and boil the water much quicker and my gas stove in my apartment does so it works out nicely. You still need a pot to put the tea into tough I guess you could brew the tea in your kettle but then if you ever wanted to use it for anything non tea related then the water would taste tea-like.
