Kind of generic cooked tuo

OK I am a rank beginner, my first experience with puerh was from mini tou cha which I enjoyed very much. Now I have a few 100gm tuo of Yuhan cooked tea in a wrapper with a crane on it and I am drinking the second infusion and I like it even more than the minis, These are the ones that sell for about 2$ from Ten Ren or Ten Tea. Comparing a mini tuo to the larger ones is pretty much like comparing the contents of a tea bag to recognizable leaves. Being a beekeeper I did have to sit on my hands to not add a spoonful of honey to the mix. I may never be able to develop the descriptive vocabulary to describe these teas but as I try new ones I'll post my impression. Next to arrive should be some tangerine cured and a pomello cured, and in a few weeks some better selections from Yunan. This is going to be fun but my coffee maker is getting jealous!

You Coffee Maker will get over it! Enjoy the journey...

Dont wory about describing it with undue eloquence, just be yourself and tell us what you like and dislike about it. The rest will follow quite naturally.

Hi

Please please please don't give that vocabulary thing a second thought. Without the specialized vocabulary, just relate what you smell, taste, and feel. Beyond that, all is hype. Glad to hear of the advent of your adventure. The crane tea is from the factory, Six Famous Tea Mountain, I THINK. A nice young green type might be your next move. Good luck. And take a glance at You'll be up to snuff in no time flat. Oh, and pass Ten Ren by, and when you pass your coffee maker just pat it on the head.

The tuocha is probably a Xiaguan tea factory product with the crane, but then, who cares? Leave the lexicon to others, sometimes nothing beats the quiet wordless moments you sit down and sip your tea, and immersing in the pleasure of it all...welcome.

I have a few 100 gm tuo of green tea from the same producer. And a few other selections coming from Yunan Sourcing I managed to get hooked on macha a few years back so the greens should be fun. I can't seem to get a reply from the folks at M&J's via Ebay perhaps they are on vacation, I have not made enough sense of the lunar calandar to nail down Chinas holidays. I am dragging a few friends along for the ride as I explore these teas and wanted to try the 888 year 2000 cooked cakes.
